There are a few rules to know when buying a horse at any type of sale:
1) Know what you want before you go into the sale - If you have an idea what
kind of horse you want, make sure to note that on your sales application so you
don't waste time looking at horses that aren't suitable for you.
2) Be prepared with cash or credit card - You'll need some form of payment to
complete your purchase, so make sure you have either cash or a credit card
ready to pay for your new four-legged friend.
3) Check out these tips before going into the show - Make sure you're familiar
with all of the rules and regulations that apply to buying a horse before going
into the show itself. It's important to know what's expected of buyers and
sellers alike in order to avoid any problems or mishaps during this process.

In addition to the livestock seminars, there are educational opportunities for
you and your children. In fact, kids 12 and under get in free with an adult.
There is a variety of information at the livestock seminars for producers,
exhibitors, horse enthusiasts and the general public. Many producers find this
event to be an important part of their annual calendar because they can learn
about new techniques in animal management or production methods.
What to
expect at the livestock seminar?
